Before anything else: we are not doctors and this is not medical advice. If you are dealing with anxiety seriously, talking to a healthcare provider should be part of the picture. That said, we sell CBD oils at both our Vancouver (2 Locations) and Main Street locations and can tell you what we carry and how people tend to use them.
CBD oils from licensed BC dispensaries come from Health Canada-regulated producers. Every product has declared potency on the label and has been tested for safety. The main things to consider are CBD concentration per dose, whether the product contains any THC, and whether it is full-spectrum, broad-spectrum, or isolate. Full-spectrum includes trace THC and other cannabinoids. Broad-spectrum removes the THC while keeping other cannabinoids. Isolate is pure CBD. For people sensitive to THC or subject to drug testing, broad-spectrum or isolate is the safer choice.
Higher concentration does not automatically mean better. A 1500mg bottle and a 500mg bottle of the same product produce the same effect at the same measured dose. If you are new to CBD oil, starting lower lets you get comfortable with dosing before committing to something stronger. Hold the oil under your tongue for 60 to 90 seconds before swallowing to improve absorption. Onset is typically 15 to 45 minutes.
Both Vancouver locations keep several CBD tinctures on the shelf including higher-dose formulas and lower-dose daily options. Stock varies based on BCLDB allocation. Friday is our concentrates and CBD deal day with 15% off the full category at all three locations.
All three Coastal Green locations carry a full menu. Walk in or order online.
