Buy Edibles in Vancouver

Our edibles shelf covers gummies sold as single 10 mg pieces or packs of smaller pieces, soft chews, milk chocolate and pot brownies. Brands on the shelf this week include 1964, Pearls, No Future, Blast, Spinach, Shred'ems, Sourz by Spinach and Olli Stikistix.

Distillate gummies use refined THC and taste mostly of the candy. Live rosin and live resin chews start from fresh-frozen cannabis, keep more of the plant's flavour and cost a little more.

Federal rules cap a package sold as an edible at 10 mg of THC. A pack might hold one 10 mg gummy, five 2 mg pieces or ten 1 mg pieces. You can buy several packs at once, up to the public possession limit: 450 grams of edible product, the equivalent of 30 grams of dried cannabis.

Health Canada suggests starting with 2.5 mg of THC or less. Edibles take 30 minutes to 2 hours to kick in, and the effects can last up to 12 hours. Wait at least 2 hours before you take more, and skip the alcohol on the same night.

Ratio edibles pair THC with other cannabinoids. A 1:1 gummy holds equal amounts of THC and CBD, and a 4:1 CBD:THC gummy holds four times as much CBD. Several brands add CBN or CBG, and some sell CBD gummies with no THC at all. Ask the team which ratio suits what you have in mind.
